Obviously, it would appear that relying on others in Dallas and Austin to carry this off would be the best strategy, however, who do we have RELIABLE in Dallas to execute the Rally there?

In Austin, who do we have we can DEPEND on to make the Rally happen, and not just a barrel full of excuses why it couldn't happen?

I am of the opinion that we need to maintain OVERSIGHT of the Dallas and Austin Rallies, but that we need one LEADER in each of those cities to make certain that the platform & booth tables & skirting, etc. gets to the location & set up on time, and be responsible for the tear-down and return of all the equipment loans after the Event. We also need ANOTHER individual in those cities to be responsible just for ADVERTISING. We can do as much internet advertising as possible from Houston, but we still need local papers, etc. (and flyers on car windshields if deemed effective) to be handled by a small team of Rally Workers on location in Dallas and Austin.

As for the permit, speakers, and press releases, those should ALL come out of AVIDD in Houston.
